35-year-old Ryoya Takashima is the author and creative force behind the website Peaceful Cuisine, whose sole purpose is to promote a vegan and environment-friendly lifestyle. He states that he believes it's his "mission to make more people realize how a vegan lifestyle can be one of the key methods in bringing about world peace" and help people "reclaim their health". Takashima also wrote a cookbook under the same title (unfortunately it is only available in Japanese) and has a youtube channel where he shares plant-based recipes, ranging from Japanese to Western cuisine, as well as his travel experiences.
